Jandel Pulcher Obituary

Jandel passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at her home.
She was born on February 18, 1956, in Laramie, WY, to parents William John and Marlene Mae Sholl Grillos. Jandel grew up in many different places, including Holland, while her father worked in the oil industry.
Jandel met Tom Pulcher and married on November 22, 1978. They lived in Bakersfield, California from 1978 until 2018. During that time, she excelled professionally in the legal field working as a court transcriber. Jandel's most cherished role was that of homemaker and mother to she and Tom's daughter, Chelsea.
The most important relationship she cultivated was with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a faithful member of the Assembly of God church for many years where she enjoyed teaching young girls in the Missionettes program. During her time as a leader, she was awarded for her spirit of gentleness.
Jandel thoroughly enjoyed quilting and gardening. One of her most rewarding accomplishments was becoming a Master Gardener. Recently, she enjoyed being a member of the Shadow Lakes Bunco Group where she developed several close friendships.
Jandel is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Tom Pulcher of Wills Point; daughter, Chelsea Breland (husband Johnathon) of Wills Point; brothers William Grillos (wife Elaine) of Colorado, Michael Grillos (wife Karen) of Colorado, Paul Grillos of Arizona; sister Cheryl Basye (husband Steve) of California.
Known as "Gammy" to her grandchildren, she is survived by two beloved grandsons, Gavon and Grant Breland; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
A private interment ceremony will take place at the Dallas -Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas where she will be laid to rest.
