Jane Marie Brousseau, 67, of Bantam, passed away August 30th at home, surrounded by her family, after a short battle with Cancer.
She was born on January 17, 1957 in Waterbury CT, daughter of the late Mary Lovrinovicz Curtiss and Edward Curtiss of Watertown,and was predeceased by her brother Richard.
She was raised in Watertown and attended St. John's School and Watertown High School. Jane was a school bus driver, sales consultant and companion. She was an artist who over the years received many awards and achievements from local fairs, enjoyed diamond beading, trips to the beach and loved to bake.
She was a very kind, giving person and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially the children.
She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Brousseau of Falls of Rough, KY, James Brousseau who was her caretaker and resided with her in Bantam CT, Granddaughter, Emily Brousseau of Falls of Rough, KY, Brother Donald Curtiss & Wife Anne Curtiss of Watertown, CT, Sister Margaret (Peggy) Birdsall and Husband David of Woodbury CT, Sister Katherine (Kathy) Rasmussen and Husband Edward of Watertown CT. She also leaves behind many special cousins, nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces & nephews, a step granddaughter, step grandson & a step great granddaughter all of whom were very special to her.

Jane had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone----She truly cared about her family and friends--I loved rec'ing her artistic gifts and her medical stories she would share about herself, or a friend and she was definitely "THE DOCTOR" :)--WE WILL MISS YOU JANE !!!!!
