Jane Stella (Siwek) Caddick, 87, of Southington, passed away peacefully on October 27 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. She was the wife of the late Roy Caddick and the former wife of the late Stephen E. Kiltonic, as well as mother of Stephen Kiltonic (Kelly) of Westfield, MA and Jane Pierce (Jeff) of Salem, CT. Known as "Babci," she enjoyed spending time with her six grandchildren: Kelsey, Lindsey and McKenzie Kiltonic and Matthew (Danielle), Erica and Rebecca Pierce. She was predeceased by her sisters Mary (Siwek) Gauvin, Helen Siwek and brothers Stanley, Joseph, John and Walter Siwek. Jane was born on May 9, 1935 in New Haven, CT, daughter of the late Sergiusz and Veronica Swieton Siwek. She was a graduate of Wilbur Cross High School and New Haven State Teachers College (S.C.S.U.) with a bachelor's degree in Education. Jane was a kindergarten teacher in Southington for 40 years. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
