TIGNALL, GA — Jane Ann Clark, age 78, of Tignall, GA , a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Tignall House, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Swainsboro, GA, on November 26, 1947, to Charlie Fred Proctor and Elizabeth Johnson Proctor.
Jane was a cherished member of her community and a hairdresser for many years, a vocation through which she brought joy and confidence to many. She was also the beautiful face met by many people during the 15+ years she and her husband Keith owned Clarks Auto Restoration in Washington. Known for her joyful and sometimes sassy spirit, she touched the lives of all who knew her. Her love for sewing, gardening, and dancing filled her life with creativity and joy.
She leaves behind her loving son, Jimmy Clark, and wife, Dianne of Tignall: two daughters, Benita Rzad, and husband, Eric of Madison, Tish Scott, and husband Bob of Washington. Her legacy continues through her adored 9 grandchildren: Sabin Clark (Alicia), Niki West (Chris), Jessica Lee (Ralph), Jackie Lee, Kurston Smith, Gibb Cooper (Nicci), Taylor Cooper, Makala Lyon (Logan), and Morgan Scott (Brian). Jane was also the proud great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren: Jason Perez, Holden West, Mason Keith West, Kennedy Gentry, Luella Cooper, Isai Clark, and Emmet Cooper. Her memory will also be cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Keith Clark and her brother, Deloy Proctor.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Westover Memorial Park, located at 2601 Wheeler Road, Augusta, Georgia. Rev. Chip Harden will officiate the service. All who had the pleasure of knowing Jane are invited to attend and celebrate her remarkable life.
Jane Ann Clark will be remembered for her kindness, her love of life, and her unwavering devotion to her family and community. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
