Jane Hunter Delaney, age 77, passed away peacefully at her home in Nashville on October 4, 2024. She was born on February 12, 1947, to the late Raymond James Hunter and Maxine Poole.
Jane was a graduate of Cohn High School in Nashville, Tennessee. She was of the Church of Christ denomination. Jane loved to travel anywhere that she was able. She was a loving mother that devoted her time to her family and friends.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents listed above, her sister, Janice Hunter Forkum, and husband, Robert Delaney.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Joseph Murray, Jr., James Douglas Murray, Sr. (Kim), and Jana Murray Emery (Bradley); grandchildren, Taylor Christine Daugherty, Joshua Alexander Murray, Ashley Nicole Murray, James Douglas Murray Jr., Chloe Lee Murray, Samuel David Emery, and Eli Thomas Emery; great-grandchildren, Hadley Daugherty, Hudson Daugherty, Gavin Lee, Vaeda Lee, Alex Lee, and Beckham Alexander Murray.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 9:30am until the hour of service. The funeral service will begin at 1:30pm in the chapel of Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 2:30pm in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Murray Jr., Joshua Murray, James Murray Sr., James Murray Jr., Bradley Emery, Samuel Emery, Eli Emery, and Drew Daugherty.
