DeMEYERS, Jane Marie – of Burton, MI, age 53, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held 3 PM Friday, May 31, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 1-3 PM Friday, May 31, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home.
Jane was born in Flint, MI on February 11, 1971, daughter of Frances DeMeyers. She was a graduate of Bentley High School Class of 1990. For over a decade, Jane devoted her talents to General Motors, leaving an indelible mark with her dedication and professionalism since 2008. Jane found joy in the simple pleasures, whether it was the thrill of a card game, especially Books and Runs, planting flowers around her house, playing her favorite Keno numbers while out for a good meal, or the exhilaration of cheering on her favorite NASCAR drivers. Yet, her greatest joy came from the moments spent at the family cabin, surrounded by the laughter and love of her children and grandchildren. In every aspect of her life, Jane radiated warmth, kindness, and an unwavering love for her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. As we bid farewell to a remarkable soul, let us take comfort in the beautiful memories we shared with Jane and the enduring impact she had on all who were blessed to have her in their lives. May her spirit continue to inspire us to live each day with love, joy, and gratitude.
Jane is survived by 2 children, Amanda (Matt) DeMeyers and Christopher Wong; 4 grandchildren; long-time friend, Steve Wong; many other loving family members and good friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances DeMeyers and aunt, Joann Samuelson.
