ISAACSON, Marion D. – of Flint, age 94, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Henry Ford Genesys. Marion was born in Flint on November 5, 1931, daughter of the late Edward and Delilah (Ream) McDonough. She married Robert Isaacson on October 6, 1956, in Flint. He survives her. Marion worked as a math teacher for Kearsley Schools, retiring in 1988 after 26 years of dedication to the students she taught. She took pride in being a wonderful mother to her two sons, a loving wife, great homemaker and accomplished cook. After retirement, Marion enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time on the boat. She also had a green thumb and could often be found in her vegetable garden. Marion also enjoyed time spent using her math skills at the casino trying to beat the system. She was an active member of Calvary Presbyterian Church where she was an ordained deacon, member of the choir, and involved member with the ladies group.

Marion is survived by her husband, Robert G. Isaacson; son, Brian (Dana) Isaacson; 4 grandchildren, Megan (Scott) Isaacson-Schmid Hussy, Ian (Devin) Isaacson, Taylor (Eric) Juchartz, and Brendan Schmid; 5 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew, Nora, Henry, and Rue; 2 sisters, Barbara Finkbeiner and Carolyn (Larry) MacDonald; 1 brother, Edward R. (Carol) McDonough; many other loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Marion was preceded in death by a son, Bruce James Isaacson.
