Jane passed away peacefully, surrounded by her husband, sister, daughter, and granddaughter. Jane is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Randy (Grippe), her daughter Janie Leigh (Nick), and best granddaughter Jade. Sibling of Kathy, Mike (Gloria), Bob, Mary, Ann (Steph), Patrick. Jane treasured her many nieces and nephews, her great nieces and nephews, her step grandchildren, and her lifelong friends. Daughter of Jane (nee) Wagner and Charles Dolan. Loved daughter-in-law of Rocco and Marcie Grippe and sister-in-law of Lyn and Mike Tyler.
Jane was a lover of learning. She received her Bachelors from UW-Milwaukee and then went on to complete her MBA at Marquette University. She worked in Human Resources for over 25 years where she saw her role of helping people achieve their best. She then turned her attention to establishing her consulting and coaching business. Her love for learning continued as she achieved her coaching certificates. She was an active volunteer, sitting on the Board of Directors at St Francis Children's Center and serving as President in 2004.
She also spent many years on the Board of the Local Society for Human Resource Management, serving as President in 98-99. She volunteered her time, mentoring others, both as a friend and as a manager, helping them achieve their goals. In addition to her constant learning, she taught leaders at UW-Madison, UWMilwaukee and Marquette University. She continued her growth with a robust Meditation practice in the last dozen+ years of her life and taught leaders to tend to their well-being.
Jane was a dedicated mother and grandmother, taking them to swimming lessons, school events, having time with their friends and encouraging their growth and interests. She was an equal partner with Randy, supporting his interests, career, educational pursuits and his escapades with his friends. Jane also loved physical pursuits, including riding horses, fencing and sailing in her early days, cross country skiing, running, swimming, bike riding, hiking, participating in numerous sprint triathlons and years of practicing yoga. She spent much of the summer tending to her garden. She loved to travel the world. Jane balanced her love of family, learning, helping others, volunteering and strove to positively impact the lives of all those she loved.
The family would like to express gratitude to Doctor Horneffer, Doctor Johnson, Doctor Swanson, Lindsey (APNP), Camille, and Diane for their guidance and support. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial donations or contributions be made to St. Francis Children's Center (6700 N Port Washington Road, Glendale, WI 53217) Website https://bit.ly/46Rk2DO
A visitation will be held on September 12, from 5pm to 5:30pm; followed by a service from 5:30pm to 6pm, and a reception from 6pm to 7:30pm. This will all be held at the Botanical Gardens 9400 Boerner Dr, Hales Corners, WI 53130.

It was an honor to be Jane's Mentor Coach for many, many years. We started working together when she was a newly graduated coach. Together we continued to refine her skills in the coaching field and she was delighted when she accomplished getting her ICF certifications. A good coach & consultant, she cared about her clients like they were family. We became friends over time and the world will miss her wonderful contributions. I shall miss her too!!

Jane was a rare and special person. She always had the most positive energy and she shared that energy with others. We shared many happy times together, ironically mostly after we worked at Rockwell Automation together. While our paths at work crossed at times, it wasn't until after we both left RA that we developed a meaningful friendship that transcended the working relationship. She was a friend with a light that I will miss forever. We spoke of many things, including death, so I know that while I can't hug her earthly body anymore, all I need to do it reach out through the universe and I will be able to locate and touch her spirit. In that way, my friend Jane will never be far away. My deepest sorrow is extended to Randy, Janie, and Jade. She loved you all so much and beamed with pride each time she spoke of you.

I also met Jane at Rockwell and we worked together many years. Then we ended up being neighbors for about 8 years- our love of consulting provided many great conversations! But as we quickly learned, our love of hiking, gardening and families was even stronger! Here is to a wonderful lady, that gave me 8 years as an amazing "new" friend in a different way. Here is to you, Jane, and our parkway!!!
We will all miss you. So many hugs to the your family.

It is interesting how you can meet a sister later in life. That is who Jane is for me. I always tell Christopher that I am so lucky for the people he brought into my life when we met. Jane is a star. I will always hear her in my heart.

I´m saddened to hear that we´ve lost such a wonderful person. I learned so much from Jane during our shared time in Milwaukee SHRM. She encouraged me so often, especially when I received my coaching certification. When I lost my job she was so generous with her time and advice. The world has lost a loving, giving, gifted soul too soon. My deepest condolences to the family. Jane made a difference-a life well spent.

My heart goes out to Jane's family and friends. I worked with Jane at Rockwell Automation years ago in HR. I'll never forget the first day I met her. She blew into my office like a tornado--such a ball of energy and ideas! She was a terrific colleague and hard worker. May the kindness and love of friends, clients, associates and former colleagues provide the family some measure of comfort and support in her loss. RIP Jane.

Jane gave me my first HR job coming out of college. 17 years later I credit her with taking a chance on me and helping kickstart my career.
