Jane E. Gotwalt

Jane E. (Riley) Gotwalt, age 85, of York, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 12, 2025 at home. She was the loving wife of the late Henry E. "Hen" Gotwalt Jr. who passed away on May 20, 2005; together they shared 47 years of marriage.
Jane was born in Spring Grove, PA on April 18, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy Riley. She was a member of Quickel Lutheran Church in York. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her loving family. Her faith and family were her life. She served as Youth Advisor (S.P.Y.) for 17 years.
Jane is survived by her children Mark (Jennifer) Gotwalt, Mike (Vicky) Gotwalt, Wendy (Brad) Wright, and Matthew (Rich) Gotwalt and Star; eight grandchildren Joshua, Brandon, Tyson, Nicholaus, Alyshia-Marie, Tyler, Chelesea, and Sierra; 10 great-grandchildren Erika, Russell, Asher, Shay, Samantha, Eve, Gabriel, Jesse, Henry and Adalyne; and one great-greatgrandchild Adaline. She is also survived by her brothers Tim Riley and Barry Riley. Jane was preceded in death by her sister Virginia (Riley) Colley; and her brothers Gail Riley and Bob Riley.
A Memorial Service in celebration of Jane's life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2:00PM at Quickel Lutheran Church, 60 E. Canal Rd., York, PA 17406.
Professional services are under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove.
