Roy R. Jones

Roy R. "Dick" Jones, age 85, of Thomasville, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025. He was the loving husband of his devoted wife Patricia F. (Bushey) Jones; together they shared 63 years of marriage.
Dick was born in Beaufort, SC on August 13, 1940 and was the son of the late Ermand and Helen (Fletcher) DeBoo. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from which he was honorably discharged. His service allowed him to travel all over the world. He worked for P.H. Glatfelter, Co. in Spring Grove until his retirement in 1999 and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Roy also served as a Constable for York County for many years. Dick was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed camping, traveling, and time with his loved ones.
In addition to his loving wife Patricia, Dick is survived by his children Robin Jones-Donivan and husband Troy, Todd Jones, and Dana Jacobs and husband Mike; his treasured grandchildren Alexa Jacobs, Tanner Donivan, and Makena Jacobs; and his great-grandson Haidyn Jacobs. He is also survived by his siblings Douglas DeBoo, Alan DeBoo, and Alise Berkenbush, and many nieces and nephews. Dick was preceded in death by his sister Susan Revlant.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation in celebration of Dick's life on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 9:00AM – 10:00AM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, PA 17362. A Graveside Service will follow the visitation on Thursday at 10:30AM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Spring Grove.
