Erminia Isi-Martinez Obituary
Jane was born on March 22, 1956, in Tooele, UT to Tony Isi and Joan Rydalch-Isi. She was the oldest of nine siblings. She naturally took on a caring and guiding role from a young age.
Jane married Chalo Martinez on April 19, 1974, together they had two daughters. Her
greatest joy was spending time with family, going camping, playing video games with her grandchildren, and watching her daily TV shows. Anyone who visited her home would notice the immense amount of love she had for her family by looking at all the pictures she had on her walls.
Jane always showed up, not just when it was easy or convenient, but when it mattered
most. She loved without conditions, without expectations, and without limits. Her love
didn't waver; it was simply there. She had a great sense of humor, she could always make you laugh, even in her final moments.
Jane is survived by her husband Chalo, daughters Bernadette (Jesse) Gallo and Josephine (Jeremy) Candelario; grandchildren Joseph, Alyssa (Jonathan), DJ (Kryschell), Teri, and Alexis; great-grandchildren Oliver, Aiden, Antonio, Averie, Fern, and Elio; sisters, Joni (Cary), Debbie, Mary (Rick), and Shauna (Mario); brothers, David (Kim) and Bruce; sisters-in-law RoseAnn, Juanita (George), Marci; brother-in-law Edward; aunts, uncles, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Mike and Kenny; brothers-in-law
Rodrigo, Phillip, Albert, Ricardo, Max, and John; sister-in-law Louise; and her beloved dogs, Sophie, Coco, Baby, and Bunny.
Services will be held January 10, 2026, at Tate Mortuary 110 S Main St Tooele, UT with
visitation from 1:00-1:45 PM, eulogy at 2:00 PM, with interment to follow at the Tooele City Cemetery.
The family thanks the staff at Harmony Home Health and Hospice for their care. With
extreme gratitude to Barbara McFarland, who not only provided exceptional care, but was a friend of many years.
