Kevin Wilde

Kevin Grant Wilde passed away peacefully in his home on February 23, 2026, at the age of 68, surrounded by family and friends. He lived life on his own terms, so "Cheers to a Good Life." He was born on January 17, 1958, to Jean and Maxine Wilde in Murray, Utah. He was the sixth of eight children. He graduated from Cottonwood High School and shortly after married Janet Young. They had two children, Cody and Heather Wilde. Kevin and Janet later divorced, and Kevin moved to Arizona in 1986. At that time, he was reunited with Dorothy Waterman from Rose Park, Utah, and moved back to Utah to marry her. They spent the remainder of their years happily together in Utah.

Kevin worked various jobs until he found his passion in plastic fabrication. He was very talented at it and after working for a few shops, he started his own plastic fabrication business. He really enjoyed being his own boss and having Cody work alongside him. Dorothy took care of the books and together they made the business very successful. He felt that his success was because he got to do what he truly loved.

Kevin and Dorothy spent a lot of time vacationing in Hawaii and Mexico with friends. They would always bring back souvenirs from each of their trips. Kevin really enjoyed fishing at Flaming Gorge. He bought a boat and spent many hours on the water there. He really didn't care if he caught fish, instead, he liked relaxing and spending the time with family and friends. Anyone who knew Kevin, knows he was always a man of few words.

Kevin is survived by his daughter, Heather; his grandchildren, Veronica, Josh, Zoe, and Jody; his stepchildren, Janie, Randy, Julie, and Ron; his step grandchildren, Sara, Erica, Torin, Aaron, and Lisa; his siblings, Carol, Willard, Elmon "Andy," Carlos, Kendall "Ken" and Bart. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Maxine; his son, Cody; and his brother, Merwin.

Kevin will leave behind a loving family that has grown close through these difficult times. He will be forever cherished for his generosity and will be deeply missed.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Intermountain Homecare & Hospice for their exceptional care and kindness during his final days. Appreciation also to Kevin's neighbors for all they have done through the years.

Per Kevin's wishes, private services will be held for the family members.
