Jane Phyllis McCarraher

Jane Phyllis McCarraher, 78, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully on Thursday, March 12, held in the love and presence of her family after a long journey with complex health challenges.

Born on November 21, 1947 in Hearst, Ontario, Canada, she was later adopted by Burke and Phyllis Walsh, and raised in Ontario, Canada. Jane lived a life of quiet faith and service, touching countless lives through her kindness, curiosity, and genuine interest in others. She devoted herself to church, family and community, opening her home and heart freely-especially to those in need. Jane loved new experiences, had a lifelong fondness for sports cars, and found deep joy in making everyone she met feel known, valued, and loved.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jack McCarraher, and their blended family of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of the Life of Jane McCarraher will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2530 Stinson Lane, Norristown, PA on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 10am.
