Jane Alline Molde, age 70, of Menomonie, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 8 after a long battle with health issues.
She was born February 16, 1955 in Eau Claire, WI to Juel and Juanita (Geske) Johnson.
Jane grew up on the family farm near Colfax and graduated from Colfax High School and UW Stout in Menomonie with a degree in fine arts/art education.
Jane worked in the area of graphic design at The Dunn County Reminder in Menomonie and retired in 2017 after 29 years at Holiday Vacations in Eau Claire. She loved her work and was very good at it.
Jane married Raymond "Terry" Molde on June 10, 1989 at Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie.
She loved flower gardening, arts and crafts, and her special dogs, Dahli and Maggie Mae. Jane's artistic flair was evident in everything she did. She also had a knack for organization.
Family was very important to Jane and Terry, raising two of their grandchildren as their own. Jane and Terry loved having family and friends over for summer cookouts and hosting their annual Christmas parties.
Jane was a very loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She will be very deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, siblings, friends, and other relatives.
Jane is survived by her son, Luke Johnson of Menomonie; step-children, Kori Molde of Menomonie, Joby (Stephanie) Molde of Wheeler; grandchildren, Bailey Pape (Nick) of Colorado Springs, CO, Luke Johnson, Jr. of Menomonie; step-grandchildren, Cole Molde, Brandi Molde, Erick Molde, and Tristin Molde of Menomonie, Willow Molde of Wheeler, and Hunter Clemetson of Marshfield; brother, Donald (Debby) Johnson of Colfax; sister, Barbara Johnson of Menomonie; brother-in-law, Monte (Carol) Molde of Menomonie; sister-in-law, Barb Molde, Hastings, MN; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Molde; parents, Juel and Juanita Johnson; and other relatives.
A special thanks to Lucy Mounce, Lois Hintzman, Kay Detar, Joann Brinkman, and others who provided home healthcare.

A celebration of life for Jane and Terry will be held on Tuesday, April 29 at Olson Funeral Home, in Menomonie. Visitation will be at 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Colfax, WI.
