MASSENA - Jane M. Pelletier, age 75, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Canton Potsdam Hospital, surrounded by her loving and devoted family. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral services. Arrangements are under the care of Frary Funeral Home, 60 Maple Street, Massena. Born in Massena on May 4, 1950, to Wayne and Marilyn (Alguire) Barkley, Jane married Henry R. Pelletier on June 20, 1970, at Sacred Heart Church in Massena. She was employed and retired from ALCOA after more than two decades, holding various positions across multiple departments throughout her career. Jane is survived by her son Bradley and daughter-in-law Janet Pelletier of Roswell, Georgia; daughter Nicole Pelletier of Massena; sisters Joann (Jeff) Barker of Leavenworth, Kansas, and Janet (Timothy) Coyne of Sun City, Arizona; brother John and Beth Barkley of Florida; father Wayne Barkley of Sun City, Arizona; grandchildren Addison, Nathan, and Ryan; as well as dozens of nieces and nephews from the Barkley and Pelletier families. She also leaves behind many beloved friends and family in the Massena community. Jane was a member of the Massena Amvets Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, spending summers at the family camp in Canada, and cherishing time with her children and grandchildren. Above all, Jane and Henry will be fondly remembered for their dancing and lifelong companionship, now reunited.
