Patrick J. French

MASSENA- Patrick "Frenchie" J. French, age 72, passed away on September 21, 2025 at Massena Memorial Hospital. Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Frary Funeral Home, 60 Maple Street, Massena. Patrick was born on January 4, 1953 in Miami, FL to Patricia Huddleston. He graduated from Massena Central High School and was employed as a mechanic at Alcoa for 40+ years. He is survived by his four children: sons Andrew (Tricia) and Matthew (Stacy), daughters, Lindsay and Courtney, his grandchildren Caillie and Natalie, his brother Jody, and two sisters, Tracey and April. Patrick enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren whom he was very proud of. He was an infamous chef who cooked often and shared his innovative recipes. Pat was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, archery, and fishing. He was an avid golfer, bowler, and coached hockey in his earlier years. Pat looked forward to shuffleboard with friends and often relished in the latest Stephen King novels. Memorial donations may be made in Patrick's name to a local organization of ones choice such as the St. Lawrence River Walleye Association, the Police Athletic League(PAL), the Massena Humane Society, or the Massena Volunteer Fire Dept.
