Jane Allison Plassmeyer, 66, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022, at her residence.
She was born August 2, 1956, in Marshall, to John Allison and Marilyn Jane (Haggard) Gross.
She graduated from Russellville High School in 1974.
She was married on September 24, 1985, in Sevierville, Tennessee to Alex Leo Plassmeyer who survives at the home.
Retiring in 2008, Jane worked as an insurance specialist for the Missouri Consolidated Health Care System.
One of Jane's greatest pleasures was taking off with Alex on his motorcycle traveling to different cities and adventures. She was a great cook and enjoyed cross-stitch. She delighted in spending time with her nieces and nephews, but her greatest joy was with her grandchildren, especially when they could cook together.
Survivors include her husband, Alex; daughter, Alex Jane (Brian) McBeth, Jefferson City; three grandchildren, Katherine McBeth, Samantha McBeth, and Zachary McBeth; her mother, Marilyn Gross, Jefferson City; a sister, Susan (Galen) Holloway, Jefferson City; three sisters-in-law, Denny Gross, Michigan; Joann Schulte, Columbia; and Carol (Mark) Norman, Texas; and two brothers-in-law, Larry Plassmeyer, Fairfax, Virginia; and Virgil (Becky) Plassmeyer, Holts Summit.
She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, John Gross; and a sister-in-law, Sandy Plassmeyer.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be 4-6:00 p.m., Monday, October 3, 2022, at Trimble Funeral Homes - Jefferson City.
Memorials are suggested to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
