Jane F. Seraphin

Jane F. Seraphin, 94 died on June 25, 2023, at Avery Heights in Hartford, CT. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Carleton F. and Lucy Pontin Seraphin. She lived all her life in Hartford, Wethersfield, and Rocky Hill. She graduated from Bulkeley High School in Hartford, CT, University of Saint Joseph, in West Hartford, CT and Trinity College in Hartford, CT. She retired from the State of Connecticut, Department of Social Services after 26 years in 1992. She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in Wethersfield, CT since 1950. She was a member of the Corpus Christi Women's Club and several other organizations throughout her life.

She is survived by first cousins Faine Gauthier and her children Christopher, his wife Kathleen and their children Madeleine, Brigid, and Coleen; Timothy and his children Daniel and Emily and their son Jameson, Mathew, and Theresa; and Ellen Gauthier; and Peter and his wife Lynn Bride and their children, Kate and Eric Cripe, their son Kieran; and Thomas Bride and Jedd Rosche. She also leaves many additional cousins on both sides of her parent's families. Throughout her life Jane traveled throughout the world, was an avid reader and loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Friends and family may call on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 9:00am to 10:00am at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Jane's life will follow at 10:30am in Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Interment to follow at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, 1 Cottage Grove Road, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the King Parish, Wethersfield.
