Janella Ann Ivy passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, surrounded by those she loved.
Born on September 2, 1950, Janella lived a life full of creativity, compassion, and quiet strength. She had a special gift for crafting and poured her heart into everything she made. Her creations brought warmth and beauty to all who were lucky enough to see them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Patsy Miller, brother David Lambert, and sister, Judy Franklin; nephew James Guthrie and great great nephew Jackson Book.
She leaves behind her daughter, Tina Walls of Andrews; her cherished grandsons, Brandon Walls of Andrews, Anthony Simmons of Andrews and Justin McDonald of Arkansas; her niece Laura Brumfield of Andrews; along with great nieces and nephews David Guthrie and wife MaryLou of Andrews; Brian Bumfield of Andrews; Meagan Book and husband Christopher of Midland; Madison Banda of Lubbock and Halie Schreiber and husband Sebastian of Ogden Utah; Great great nieces and nephews, Nevaeh, Austin, Ruby, Lexi and Marilynn- all of whom she loved deeply and unconditionally.
Janella’s grandsons were the light of her life. Her love for them knew no bounds.
Her kindness, humor, and creativity touched so many. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will always be felt—in every handmade piece, every shared laugh, and every act of love inspired by her.
