Janelle Ann Koff, 75, of Roswell, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2025. Born on February 20, 1950, in Humboldt, Nebraska, to Arthur and Evelyn Dolsky, Janelle lived a life filled with love, creativity, and generosity. Janelle dedicated 25 years to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where she contributed her talents to personnel across several departments, including Infectious Disease and World Health. She retired in 2017 and fully embraced her next chapter of life. In retirement, she delighted in perfecting her chocolate chip cookie recipe, attending weekly social gatherings with friends, caring for her beloved grandchildren, and continuing to create art. She had a gift for caring for others, and those around her felt the warmth of her generosity and kindness. Her creativity was a constant thread throughout her life. From her early craft business creating calligraphy and watercolor paintings, to authoring three children's books, to her recent joy of painting rocks to brighten others' days, Janelle shared beauty and joy in countless ways. A devoted mother, Janelle loved her son Darin deeply and delighted in every moment spent with her three grandchildren, Halle, Parker, and Sloane, who were the light of her life. She also embraced her role in the extended family, loving her son's half-sisters, Lisa and Stacey, as part of her own. Janelle's warmth, creativity, and generosity extended to all who knew her, leaving a lasting impression of kindness and joy. Janelle is survived by her son, Darin (Megan) Koff; her grandchildren, Halle, Parker, and Sloane; Her step daughters Lisa and Stacey; and her brother, James (Sue) Dolsky. She was preceded in death by her parents and her former husband, Alon Henry Koff. Janelle Ann Koff will be remembered not only for her accomplishments, but for the love, laughter, and light she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her.
