Janet Becker Obituary
She was born on July 26, 1939, in Magoffin County, KY to Will Green Cooper and Lucy Owens Cooper. She enjoyed fishing, shrimping, taking shrimp to her church and family, and traveling to Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Forest Cooper, W. G. Cooper Jr, Owens Cooper, Charlie Cooper, and Sarah Rose Hall.
Survivors include her husband John Becker, her children, David Abbott Sr. (Cheri) of Charlestown, Hiram E. Abbott of Louisville, KY, and Lucy Hein of Harrodsburg, KY; sisters, Phyllis A. Pack (Jim) of Georgetown, KY, and Patty Keloge (Greg) of Nolin Lake, KY; grandchildren, David Abbott Jr. (Dakota), Erica Abbott (Brady), Matthew Abbott, Morgan Abbott, Timmy Hein, and Jennifer Hein; great-grandchildren, Baylor Abbott, Ryder Odle, Easton Abbott, and a granddaughter, Tara Double, several nieces, and nephews.
Life Celebration Services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Cooper Cemetery. The visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday and after 9:00 am on Wednesday.
