Funeral Service: Saturday, November 12th, 2022 at 11 AM at St. Jacobi Ev. Lutheran Church, 8605 W. Forest Home Ave. Greenfield, WI 53228. Private burial at Forest Home Cemetery
On May 28th, 1934, the Lord blessed Mr. & Mrs. Gerold and Bertha (nee Naegeli) Behning with the gift of a daughter, Janet May. The Lord brought Janet into God's family through Holy Baptism on July 1st, 1934 at St. Jacobi Ev. Lutheran Church. On May 16th, 1947, Janet made her confirmation promises to the Lord.
Janet was a proud 1952 graduate of Lutheran High School and a 1956 graduate of University of Wisconsin Madison. Through the years Janet worked faithfully at Froedtert Malt Company, Badger Mutual Insurance Company and over 30 years at Northwestern National Insurance Company. She was a lifelong member of St. Jacobi Ev. Lutheran Church.
Thank you to the Lord and all of His angels for watching over Janet through the years and to all those the Lord sent into Janet's life to do angels' work on earth caring for Janet and keeping her safe.
The Lord Jesus received called Janet to His side on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022 at the age of 88 years, 5 months, and 11 days. Janet's friends and family await a reunion around Jesus' throne. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. May the name of the Lord be praised.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 10:30-11am at St. Jacobi Ev. Lutheran Church, 8605 W. Forest Home Ave. Greenfield, WI 53228. with a Funeral Service at 11am. Private burial at Forest Home Cemetery.
