Janet K. Cieslewicz, 76 of Birnamwood, died on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center, Marshfield.
Janet was born on October 21, 1948, in Wausau, the daughter of Roman and Angeline (Ostrowski) Stoltz.
On July 6, 1968, Janet was united in marriage to Conrad Cieslewicz in Hatley. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1989.
In Janet's younger years, she loved playing cards and bingo. She had a great love for animals, especially cats. Janet enjoyed watching soap operas and reading magazines.
Janet is survived by three children, Brenda (Chris) Damask, Michael Cieslewicz and Jason (Jody) Cieslewicz; four grandchildren, Brandon (Rachael) Damask, Melanie (Andrew) Wiskow, Isabelle Cieslewicz and Carter Cieslewicz; six great-grandchildren, Kaidyence, Adleigh, Jaxcyn, Royal, Bodee and Reese, and sister, Eileen (David) Milanowski.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad; parents and siblings, Richard Stoltz, Marie (LeRoy) Tryba and Henrietta 'Hankie' Stoltz.
A Private Family Graveside will be held at St. Ladislaus Catholic Cemetery, Bevent.
Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg is assisting the family with arrangements. Memories and messages of support may be shared at schmidtschulta.com.
The family would like to thank Autumn Lane and Marshfield Medical Center in Weston and Marshfield for their kind and compassionate care given to Janet.
