Mrs. Janet Kay (Rae) Craig, age 81, of La Grange, Kentucky, entered this life on August 15, 1944 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Lois Jane (Wian) Rae. At the young age of three, the family moved from Pennsylvania to Geneva, Ohio where she graduated in 1962 from Geneva High School. Janet was united in marriage on August 4, 1963 to William Albert Craig in Geneva, Ohio. This happy union of over 61 years was blessed with two daughters, Susan and Sharon. Janet was a former secretary for Catalyst Technologies in Buckner, Kentucky for over five years. She was a member of the Crestwood United Methodist Church in Crestwood, Kentucky. Janet enjoyed gardening, camping and crocheting. Janet passed away at 3:46 a.m., Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.

Janet will be missed by her daughters, Susan Conrad and her husband, Timothy of Ashtabula, OH, and Sharon Edwards and her husband, Marvin of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren, Timmy Conrad, Christopher (Nicole) Conrad, Megan (Ray) Roberts, Michael Day, and William "Alex" Day; her step-grandson, Nathan Edwards; her great-grandchildren, Lydia and Maelynn Conrad, Benjamin Conrad, and Jaxon Breckenridge; her sisters, Grace Haffa of Geneva, OH, and Bonnie Burzanko and her husband, Tim of Geneva, OH; her sister-in-law, Stephanie Craig of Orlando, FL; and her several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alexander Rae; her mother, Lois Jane (Wian) Rae; her husband, William Albert Craig, died December 8, 2024; her sister, Lois Wheatley; her brothers-in-law, Lyle Wheatley, Earle Haffa, and Thomas Craig.

Private services will be held by the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Cards are available at the funeral home or online at www.haskellandmorrison.com
