Janet was born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to the late Leslie and Gwendolyn Bender. She graduated from Johnstown High School in 1959 and met the love of her life, John, during this time. After marrying, they eventually settled in Byram Township, where they built a loving home and raised their three children.
Janet loved spending time in her garden, especially growing flowers. She enjoyed traveling with John and their family, always looking forward to new places and experiences. One of her favorite pastimes was going dancing with John on Saturday nights - something they both looked forward to and enjoyed together.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John R. Durica Sr.; three children: John R. Durica Jr. (Missy Kimber), Jeanne R. D'Ambrosio (Steven Meade), and Judith Durica (Scott Fenton); and four grandchildren, John R. Durica, III, Bon A. Durica, Gabrielle Kimber, and Vivienne Fenton.
