Janet Fiorentino Obituary

Janet was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Fiorentino for 25 years.
She was the loving mother of Anthony (Carol) Fiorentino of Kennerdell and John Fiorentino of North Versailles.
Janet was also the dear grandmother of Nicholas (Bethany) Fiorentino, Shannon Fiorentino-Engle, Adam Fiorentino and Angela Fiorentino.
She is also survived by nieces, nephews and a few close friends.
Janet was employed for many years at the former American Legion bingo in East Pittsburgh. For enjoyment, she treasured traveling to her summer home in Kennerdell and also visiting the Rivers Casino.
Friends are welcome on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 4p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, PA 15145, (412) 823-9350 where a Blessing Service will be held at 4 p.m.
Janet will be entombed privately in St. Joseph Mausoleum.

I was sorry to hear about Janet. Deepest sympathies to her family. Growing up, being around Janet was always fun for me when we visited East Pittsburgh relatives. I'll never forget the time she babysat the three of us McIntyre girls and she bought each of us an Easter chick. (Yes, way back then they sold dyed chicks.) She was definitely one of a kind!
