JANET MARIE LOCHHEAD, 66, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 9:39 pm, Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Festus, Missouri.
She was born to the late Dean L. and Maxine R. (nee Zgonina) Lochhead on August 30, 1957 in Murphysboro, Illinois.
She had worked as a support service worker at Chester Mental Health.
Janet was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. Janet volunteered for many years at St. John Lutheran School serving lunch for the kids and doing admission at all of the ball games. She also volunteered collecting money at the fish fries in Ellis Grove at the fire house.
