Janet M. Nardone, of Avon Park, Florida passed away on June 2, 2025 at the age of 86. She was born on November 20, 1938 in Boston, Massachusetts and is survived by her son, William V. Nardone of Rochester, New York. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orlando Nardone.
Janet was retired from Union Carbide in Bennington, Vermont where she was employed for more than 8 years. Her husband, Orlando was retired from Globe Union where car batteries were manufactured. Janet and Orlando moved to Florida in 2002.
Janet was a longtime volunteer with Meals on Wheels. She was known for her collection of elephant figurines with a collection of hundreds.
A Celebration of Life funeral Mass will be celebrated on July 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church where Janet was a longtime member. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are entrusted to Morris Funeral Chapel, Sebring, Florida
