Janet Palmaccio Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McMurrough Funeral Chapel - Libertyville on Jun. 17, 2024.
Janet S. Palmaccio, age 68, of Chicago, Illinois, died unexpectedly on June 13th, 2024. She was a proud resident of Chicago (Go Cubs Go!), and an unapologetically free spirit. She lived her life to the fullest, selflessly giving to others. Her dogs were her pride and joy; never meeting one she didn't love. She loved playing a round of golf with friends, whiskey tasting, singing while cruising in her jeep with the top down, and spending endless time with family and friends.
Jan leaves behind her 4 beautiful puppies – Daisy, Izzy, Gracey and Randy; sisters Marguerite (Dan) Dadabo, Linda (Bruce) Becker, sister-in-law, Alex Rockafellar (Palmaccio), Aunt Margaret Jodice, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many dear friends who mourn her loss. She is preceded in death by her mother, Serafina Palmaccio, father, Joseph Palmaccio, brother, Joseph M. Palmaccio, and nephew, James Dadabo.
A Celebration of Jan's Life will be held on Friday, June 21, at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville, from 1-5pm, with a service held at 4:30 PM. Please join us by adding something red to your attire, which is Jan's favorite color. Private interment at a later date. Jan was a lover of flowers or also please consider donating to one of her favorite charities, Best Friends, in her honor. Funeral info (847) 362-2626.
