White Lake – Janet Plescia, 69, wife of Anthony, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Little Falls Hospital, Little Falls.

Janet was born on March 17, 1956 in the Town of Norway, New York, a daughter of James and Olive Stanley Clark. She grew up in Newport, where she completed her education graduating from West Canada Valley Central School. On September 30, 1989 Janet was united in marriage with Anthony P. Plescia in Remsen. Following their marriage the couple made their home on White Lake in the Town of Forestport, where they have since lived.

Janet very much enjoyed gardening and caring for flowers. She was also fond of watching and feeding birds, especially the hummingbirds. Above all else Janet loved and adored her role as a mother and raising her children.

Besides her husband Anthony, she is survived by her daughter Chelsea Plescia, Buffalo, and her son Jonathan Plescia and his significant other Nicole Watson, Old Forge, niece Melissa Maxwell, sister-in-law Marguerite Plescia, Whitesboro, and special friends Cheryl and Bucky Flansburg, Hinkley.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodgate Volunteer Fire Dept. P.O. Box #187, Woodgate, NY 13494. Her funeral arrangements are in care of the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville.
