Janet Stewart Obituary
Janet Honsey Stewart, age 91, of Plymouth, passed away on July 3, 2025, surrounded by family.
Janet graduated from St. Louis Park High School and attended Washington State University where she met Dick. They married in 1953 and raised four children. Jan enjoyed playing golf and bridge, cooking and traveling.
Preceded in death by her husband, Richard, parents, Willard and Abbie Honsey, and sister Linda Peterson. Survived by children Jeff Stewart (Ann), Gale Waudby (Bob), Jill Nowocin (Walter) and Amy Roth (Richard); Grandchildren D.J. Myron, Molly Stewart (Chris Sapp), Evan Stewart, Ellen Roth (Ben Jungbauer), Jennifer Nowocin, Emily White, Jeremy Waudby (Rheanne), Melissa & Andrea Waudby, Matthew Nowocin, Sara Melsness (Jake), and Betsy Stewart; Great-grandchildren, Oscar, Henry & Sylvia Sapp, Dalton, Kenley and Karis Belgarde and Leo White. Sisters Beryl Waldeland (Donald) and Karen Kleinsteuber, and many nieces and nephews.
Services 11:00 a.m. Saturday August, 9 at Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, MN. Visitation one hour prior. Interment, 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 11, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church, N.C. Little Hospice or donors choice.
