Janet Lee Talent of Watauga, Texas passed away October 24, 2025. Janet was born April 21, 1952 in Orlando, Florida to Clayton Cobb and Ernestine Wilkerson (Douglas).

Janet met the love of her life, Leo, at Kip’s Big Boy. They were married, February 7, 1969. She was a stay-at-home mom and when her kids were grown, she went to work for American Eagle.

Janet was a talented artist. She loved Elvis Presley and Conway Twitty. She was able to mark Graceland and Loretta Lynn’s childhood home off of her bucket list amongst her other travels.

Janet is survived by her husband, Leo; son and daughter-in law, Charles and Jean Talent; daughter, Tammy Walls; grandchildren, Justin Walls, Kaitlyn Renfroe, Truitt Talent and Lewis Talent; Great Grandchildren, Scarlett Renfroe, Layton Walls, Cooper Walls, and Magnolia Renfroe; Sisters, Carmin Babina (Joe), Linda Whitehead (Tommy), and Cookie Hulett; sister-in-law, La Joy Kingston (Jim); brothers-in-laws, Ed Talent and Leon Talent, many nieces and nephews and many friends.
