Janet Moore Trego

Janet (Moore) Trego, 99, of Glenmoore, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Pocopson Home, West Chester.

Born in Upper Uwchlan Township, Jane was the daughter of the late Harry and Ruth (Compton) Moore. She was the wife of the late John "Sonny" L. Trego Jr., who passed away in 1998.

Janet was a life-long member of Windsor Baptist Church, Downingtown. She enjoyed bowling, golf, and playing the organ. She was a wonderful cook.

Janet is survived by her children: John Trego III (Charlotte) of Glenmoore, PA, Bruce Trego (Barbara) of Rockwall, TX, and Kimberly Wausnock of Stewart, FL; grandchildren: Christina Spiri (Drew), John Trego IV (April), Courtney McGinty (Pat), and Charles Collins; great-grandchildren: Alexis Plank (Ryan), John Trego V (Emily, Samuel Trego, Connor Spiri (Callie), Hannah Spiri (Beau), Benjamin Spiri, Wellington McGinty, and Hudson McGinty; great-great-grandchildren: Emerson Plank and Noah Plank; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In addition to her husband and parents, Janet was preceded in death by her siblings: Lowie (Dill), Mary (John), Harry "Bud" (Nelda), and Frank (Dorothy); son-in-law: Joseph Wausnock.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 9:45-10:45 AM at Windsor Baptist Church: 213 Little Conestoga Rd, Downingtown, PA 19335. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM at the church. Inurnment will follow at the adjoining church cemetery.
