Janet Russell Vierling

Janet Diane (Russell) Vierling, age 63, a native of Loudon passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025.Janet was born to the late Glen and Juanita Fagg Russell in Sweetwater. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Charlene Burger and Darrell "Doc" Russell and the love of her life, Kenny Skinner.
During the majority of her life, Janet enjoyed her time working in hospitality. Most commonly known for working at the Sweetwater Hotel at the front desk and in the lounge. She loved to listen to live music and stayed up to date concerning the politics of the day. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and her family.
Janet truly knew it was more blissful to give to others than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds as she often helped friends and family who were in need. She was known for her kind, loving, caring and humorous personality.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Teeza Sullivan, Knoxville and Brianna (Trey) Livingston, Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Tristan, Trenton and Lincoln McBride, Aurora and Lucy Sullivan, Ryleigh Triplett, John Allen and Maverick Livingston; brother and sister-in-law, Arnold and Jenny Russell; nephews, Adam, Andrew, Tyler and Dylan Russell, Jeremy Burger and special friend, Tommy Stockton. Her departure leaves an unfillable void in their lives, yet they find comfort in the memories and everlasting love they shared. Services honoring and remembering Janet will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, Jan. 22nd in the McGill Click Chapel with Dr. Michael Thrasher officiating. Interment 11:00 AM Thursday, Jan23rd in the Simpson Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 PM Wednesday prior to the service at McGill Click Funerals & Cremations, 1366 Hwy 72 N. Loudon.
