Janet Ladale Wolfe was born September 11, 1964, in Cyril, OK to Joe and Nila (Walling) Hayes. She graduated from Elgin High School, where she was involved in FFA and many other activities.
She has had many different jobs throughout the years, but the biggest was being a Mom, then being Nana to her two grandsons. She loved her family fiercely and was always up for an adventure. She was the family's sounding board for crazy ideas and just a listening ear for all things that life threw our way.
She was really good with numbers, so bookkeeping and tax preparation were her "real" jobs for the majority of her life. She has touched so many lives by helping people navigate all things tax related.
She was also very involved in her church, the Arena Cowboy Church. She had been working with the youth specifically for the past few years. She would bring a snack bag for all the kids. It was her joy to talk with the kids and make sure they were taken care of. As much as the kids loved to get a snack, she would light up with pure joy when they would say thank you! She wanted to encourage people and always had a kind word, or a pep talk if you needed it. Singing was also a passion of hers, even though she could be shy, whether it was in the car or at church on stage, she sounded like Patsy Cline to us.
She is survived by her one son: Daniel Wolfe; three daughters: Sharon Stuckey and her husband Jake, Cassidy Wolfe, and Camy Wolfe. 2 Grandson's Tate and Rustyn. Her Dad, Joe Hayes; 1 brother Steve Hayes and his wife Johnda. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Nila Hayes and brother David Hayes.
Memorial service for Janet Wolfe will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Fletcher Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastors Dave Mcghghy and Billy Harmon officiating.
