Janice Brooks Obituary
Mrs. Janice Scott Brooks, age 72, of Summerville Road, Boaz Alabama, died on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
Service will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at two o’clock pm in the McRae Chapel with Bro. Mark Scott and Bro. Justin Childers officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 10:30 am until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brooks was born in Alabama on August 23, 1950, to Elmer and Doris Woodham Scott. She was a retired bank teller.
Mrs. Brooks is survived by her husband: Larry Brooks of Boaz, Son: Shane & Trisha Brooks of Boaz, Daughters: Amanda & Carlo Wills and Jana Walker all of Albertville, 5 Granddaughters, 2 Great Grandchildren, Brother: Mark Scott of Boaz and Sister: Shelia Spurling of Albertville. She was preceded in death by her parents: Elmer & Doris Scott and Sister: Brenda Jones.
Pallbearers will be Mikey Spurlin, Cody Spurlin, Zack Scott, Dylan Scott, Tim Jones, Scott Jones, Charles Owens, and David Owens.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
