Janice Faye Millwood English, 80, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 15, 2024.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Clara Phillips Millwood.
Janice's life was defined by her unwavering love for her family and friends, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her love and devotion knew no bounds, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Janice found fulfillment in serving others and always wore a radiant smile with her hallmark red lipstick that lit up any room she entered. Dedicated to her work in the fine dining industry, she touched the lives of many with her kindness and grace.
Throughout her life, Janice found solace and strength in her faith, regularly attending services at the Rock of Ages Baptist Church. Her spiritual beliefs guided her actions, and her compassion towards others reflected the teachings she held dear. Known to be feisty and always "dressed to the nines", Janice never met a stranger and made so many friends at PACE Senior Adult Care.
Her legacy will continue on in the hearts of her wonderful children, Katrina Morrison (Greg), and Tabitha Griggs (Paul); her best friend, David Hunnicutt; eight precious grandchildren, Michael Giambrone, Felecia Giambrone Anderson (Randy), Joshua Morrison (Ashley), Ashley Morrison, Scottie Griggs Williams (Scottie), David Griggs (Katie), Eden Griggs (Elizabeth), and Kaye Nicole English (Christian); 25 adoring great-grandchildren, Christian Jr., Hunter, Jayden, Rhett, Walker, Reece, Dalton, Logan, Brianna, Brandon, Owen, Brayden, Deontae, Ariel, Armonie, Kolby, Serenity, Alayah, Aiden, Laighla, Kiahlee, Jorden, Brittany, Brianna, and Bentley; three darling great-great-grandchildren, Mason, Jayden, and baby Kolby; special niece and nephews, Jayne Kostick Ogan (Chris), Richard Kostick, and Steve Kostick; as well as her very special friend and lifelong companion, Roger Dale Roach.
In addition to her parents, Janice was reunited in Heaven by her son, Edward Kay "Vernon" English, Jr.; her brother, Bryant Millwood; and her special aunt, Mary Phillips Kostick.
Janice Faye Millwood English will forever be remembered for her compassion and the love she shared with those around her; and as she often said, she lived a wonderful life and had no regrets.
