Janice Rogene Graeber, 82, of Castaic, California, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2025. She was born on August 8, 1942, to Everett and Hazel Morrell. A woman known for her sass, zest for life, patriotism, and unwavering support of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Janice made a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. She is survived by her two daughters, Terri (Steve) Gasper and Lorri (Bill) Shipman; her stepchildren, Thomas (Afroditi) Graeber and Susan (Pete) Andrews; and her grandchildren, Amanda (Richard) Zeller, Madison (Kyle) Sanders, William (Amanda) Shipman II, Cole (Kelly) Gasper, Allysa (Jacob) Shrout, Jordyn Gasper, Anthony Graeber, Daniel Chamberlain, Michael Chamberlain, Byron Graeber, Rex Andrews, and Walker Andrews. Janice also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren, Jackson Zeller, Colton Zeller, Kellen Sanders, Kennedy Sanders, and William Shipman III. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Graeber.Janices family was her heart, and she took great joy in watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow and thrive. Whether with her signature sassy remarks or her hearty laugh, she filled every room with love and light. Janice was a devout Christian, who loved Jesus and her country with her whole heart. She cherished the time spent with her loved ones and will be forever remembered for her boundless energy, caring nature, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.A private family celebration of Janices life will be held in the summer, where her remains will be scattered in her favorite lake in Tennessee, alongside her beloved husband, Ray. Janice and Ray spent much time on Lake Loudon, surrounded by friends and family, enjoying Gods beauty. This will be a time for loved ones to come together and honor her memory, just as she would have wanted.Janices legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and her family finds comfort in knowing she is now reunited with Ray, her parents, and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
