Janice Heinrich, 67, of Lubbock, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Janice was born on October 25, 1957, in Lubbock, Texas to Betty (Larsen) Heinrich and the late Marvin Thomas Heinrich.
Janice grew up in Ralls and graduated from Ralls High School, graduating with the senior class of 1976.
Janice loved music, especially the Golden Oldies, and Elvis Presley. She loved to do puzzles, gardening, and was a die-hard fan of Texas Tech University sports, in addition to being a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Janice adored her daughters and was a grandmother to her four grand-pups. She worked at Blue Sky as a dishwasher before becoming a cook at Blue Sky. She retired in August of 2024.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her three daughters: Linzie Welch, Kaylie Starch and Mindy Starch, all of Lubbock; her mother, Betty Heinrich of Lubbock; two brothers: David Heinrich of Ralls and Paul Heinrich of Richmond; one sister, Teresa Norris of Lubbock. She has also left behind her four grand-pups: Goober, Sunshine, Goldie and Theo. Janice was preceded in death by her father and husband.
No services are planned at this time.
