It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Graham Bryarly on November 3, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on July 16, 1939, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, Richard was a cherished member of the Lubbock, Texas community where he resided.

Richard proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force before embarking on a fulfilling career as a Frame Attendant with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in the communications industry. Known for his intelligence and remarkable photographic memory, Richard touched the lives of many with his wisdom and kindness.

A devoted man of faith, Richard loved the Lord above all. His late wife Rosemary was the love of his life. He had a deep passion for two-way radios and found joy in dining out. In his leisure time, Richard could often be found watching television or caring for his beloved cats and the birds that frequented his yard. Richard was extremely close with the late Mary Payne and her children Robert, David and Dianna Payne. He loved them as his own family.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Bryarly, his father, Andrew Bryarly, and his mother, Virginia Bryarly.

Richard is survived by his brother, Daryl Bryarly, and wife Nancy, nieces Beth Ann Stilwell and husband John, Jennifer Bryarly-Renaud and husband Mark and Rebecca Walters and husband James who will continue to honor his legacy of love and devotion to the Lord.

A private burial will take place at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.

Richard Graham Bryarly will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
