Janice Lawson

Beloved and devoted mother, Janice L. Lawson, age 72, of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Janice was the daughter of the late Sidney Connell and Alfina Gurley. She is survived by siblings, Samuel Gurley (Iris), Alonzo Connell, Dorcas Connell (Curtis), and Dunston Connell; two sons, Kevin Bridgeman and James (Jimmy) Lawson III; and grandson, Grant Bridgeman.
Janice was born on February 24, 1951, in Grenada, West Indies. After moving to the United States, she married, worked, and raised her family in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. After retiring from the insurance industry, Janice enjoyed every moment she could, cooking and caring for loved ones, taking long walks, and nurturing her garden. She was also well-known by fellow church members for helping individuals and families through her service in several ministries.
A combined memorial service for Janice L. Lawson and her late son, Anthony J. Bridgeman, will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Bethel Church, 1583 Blackwood-Clementon Road, Blackwood, NJ.
