Janice Louise Henn Miller, age 89, of Princeton, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in the SECU Hospice House of Smithfield. Born, May 5, 1936, in Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Fred R. Henn and Ethel James Lee.

Janice was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and care touched everyone who knew her. She was a long-time member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Miller, beloved son, Charles "Butch" Anderson, and her brothers, John Henn and Jim Henn.

A woman of many talents, Janice was an exceptional cook who brought people together around the table. She was an avid quilter, and loved sewing and crocheting gifts for her loved ones. Known for her spirited sense of humor, she especially enjoyed out-fishing her husband, Joe-a point of pride she never let him forget.

Janice had a deep love for her family and took great pride in her role as matriarch. She is survived by her children: Lisa Brennan of Florida, Lori Rose and husband Barry of Princeton, NC, Joe Anderson of Iowa, Forest E. Miller of Texas, Mike Miller of Texas, Elizabeth Barlow of California, Patty Humphrey of Arizona, Jackie Johnson of Texas, and Sandy Neiman of California. She is also survived by many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Goldsboro, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
