Janice L. Schnurr, age 50, passed away on July 15, 2025. She was a resident of Sagamore Hills, Ohio and was an avid hockey fan. Jan was a 30-year season ticket holder for the Cleveland Monsters. She also enjoyed train spotting and going to different zoos, her favorite was seeing the tigers. Jan loved thunderstorms, bowling, the ocean (especially the Outer Banks), and NASCAR racing.
Jan was preceded in death by her father Charles Schnurr; and her grandparents John and Anne Stacko and Bernard and Ruth Schnurr; and her fur baby Angel.
She is survived by her loving mother Rita; her treasured sister JoAnn MacEwen; dear uncle Alan Stacko (Cindy); her “best buddy” niece Madison MacEwen (Madison never called her aunt, it was always buddy); her beloved boyfriend Patrick Steele; and her fur baby Holly.
Family and friends are welcome on Saturday July 19, 2025 from 10-11am at Saint Barnabas Catholic Parish, 9451 Brandywine Road, Northfield, Ohio, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am. Burial All Saints Cemetery, Northfield Ohio to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be much appreciated.
