Janice Honeycutt Sharpe, 62, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

She was born on May 27, 1962, in Alamance County to James and Dolly Honeycutt.

Janice is survived by her mother, Dolly Honeycutt, and her two siblings, Tammie Levron, James Honeycutt and his wife Bonnie Honeycutt. As well as her three children, Sheldon Sharpe, 35, of Hopewell, VA. Kendra Sharpe, 33, of Raleigh, NC, and her youngest, Bryson Sharpe, 26, of Burlington, NC. Janice also had a long-time partner, Bryan Riggsbee, of Elon, NC.

Janice loved to read, garden, thrift/antique shop, and most of all, she loved to spend time with all of her kids and her dog, Cooper, and her grand pups, Wallace, Malik, and Sailor. Janice loved to spend time on her back patio, cook her favorite dishes and discover new ones, dress up on Halloween, watch her boys play sports and later in life, she enjoyed traveling to antique shops, attending baseball games and sporting events with her partner. Janice was a loyal, hardworking, loving and lively person. Janice was a force who wasn’t afraid to speak her mind and be herself, no matter what.

Janice had many jobs throughout her life but nothing as important as being a Mom. Janice was a devoted mother to her three children. Her kids were her world, everything she did was for them. Janice was always ready for whatever adventure her kids got her into. She was a very accepting person and treated all her kid's friends as her own. She loved everyone and always loved having a full house. It was never a dull moment and she cherished all the fun times she had with her kids.

A private celebration of Janice’s life was held at Red Oak Brewery, where she loved to go grab a beer and share laughs with loved ones.
