Janis M. Guzi, age 67, of Kent, passed away peacefully at home on October 17, 2024. She was born in Salem, Ohio on January 27, 1957 to the late Paul and Betty Gretsinger.
Janis loved to craft and enjoyed holiday gatherings. She also found great joy in her family and she cared for them deeply. She will truly be cherished and remembered forever.
She leaves her loving husband of 43 years, Jack; son, Joseph (Jennifer); brother, Tim (Lynn) Gretsinger; and sister, Sue Vogelberger.
Family and friends may visit at St. Paul's Catholic Church (1580 Brown Street, Akron, OH 44301) on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 11am until her Funeral Mass begins at 12pm. Janis will then be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery (100 E. Waterloo Rd., Akron, OH 44319).
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to a Parkinson's research organization of your choice.
