In Loving Memory of Jared William Mysierowicz.
Jared William Mysierowicz, age 40, passed away on January 27, 2026, leaving behind a profound emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Jared was born on December 26, 1985, in
Grosse Pointe, Michigan, to Sharon Lynn (née Matral) and William Dino Mysierowicz. He was the third of four children, a role he embraced in his own unique way, bringing humor, creativity, and strength into the family dynamic. From the beginning, Jared lived life on his own terms, and that individuality became one of his most defining and cherished qualities.
Jared spent his early years growing up in Michigan, where he formed deep roots and lifelong connections. He graduated from Anchor Bay High School in 2004, remembered by many as someone who stood out not by trying to fit in, but by being unapologetically himself. After high school, he attended Macomb Community College, where he earned his associate degree as a Certified Nurse Assistant.
In 2011, Jared made the decision to move to Wyoming to be closer to his brother Jordan-a choice that spoke volumes about the importance of family in his life. While in Wyoming, Jared was introduced to construction work through a friend, an experience that would unexpectedly ignite a true passion. From the moment he began working in construction, it was clear that he had found something that resonated deeply with him. Jared was a natural learner, able to pick up new skills quickly and master tasks with remarkable ease. He took pride in doing things well, working hard, and contributing something tangible to the world around him. He genuinely loved his work and the sense of purpose it gave him. In 2021, Jared began working on construction projects in both Wyoming and Michigan, traveling back and forth so he could remain close to his family while continuing the work he loved. This balance meant everything to him.
From a very young age, Jared's natural talents were evident, especially in music. At just five years old, he began learning how to play the flute and continued lessons throughout his childhood. Often the only boy among a class of more than thirty students, Jared stood out not just for that reason, but for his extraordinary ability. He was a phenomenal flutist who seemed to possess an instinctive understanding of music. Despite years of lessons, Jared never learned how to read sheet music; instead, he played entirely by ear. He could hear a piece once and play it effortlessly, with passion and precision. His talent was raw, authentic, and deeply moving. People loved listening to him play, and music became one of the many ways Jared connected with others. One of his proudest musical moments was the opportunity to play alongside renowned jazz flutist Alexander Zonjic-an experience he carried with quiet pride and humility.
Jared's creativity extended far beyond music. He had an extraordinary gift for drawing and visual art. He could recreate scenes, people, and ideas from memory alone, without reference. Jared's artwork consistently reflected depth, detail, and emotion. His artistic ability was tied closely to the way he saw the world-through a lens that was uniquely his own. Jared noticed things others overlooked and expressed them in ways that were both striking and beautiful. His art, like his music, was a reflection of his inner world.
In addition to his creative pursuits, Jared loved sports and physical fitness. He spent many hours at the gym and took pride in staying strong and active. Sports were a source of joy, passion, and connection for him. He loved basketball, baseball, and football, and faithfully supported Detroit teams, including the Pistons, Lions, and Tigers. Above all else, however, Jared was a diehard Michigan State fan. His love for MSU was unmatched, and he eagerly anticipated every season, celebrating victories and enduring losses with equal loyalty and enthusiasm.
Jared also enjoyed fishing, finding peace in the quiet moments by the water. It was a simple pleasure that allowed him to slow down, reflect, and enjoy the calm, often sharing those moments with the people he loved.
Raised Christian, Jared's faith was an important part of his life and became especially meaningful during the final months. His belief in God provided him comfort, peace, and strength during difficult times, helping him navigate moments when life felt overwhelming or uncertain. His faith grounded him and offered reassurance when he needed it most.
Jared was known for his humor and playful spirit. He was a jokester, often bending the rules and pushing boundaries, but always in a way that reflected his free and independent nature. He lived life according to his own values, unburdened by societal norms or the opinions of others. Jared was stubborn, but in a way that was undeniably charming. He was authentic, unapologetic, and truly one of a kind-someone who could never be replaced.
One of the greatest joys and proudest accomplishments of Jared's life was becoming an uncle. He cherished the moments when his nieces and nephews were born and took immense pride in watching them grow. Jared took his role as an uncle seriously, offering love, protection, laughter, and unwavering support. He adored them deeply and found happiness simply in being present in their lives.
Above all else, Jared's heart belonged to his family. His parents, brothers, and sister were not just family-they were his best friends. He was also extremely close to his cousins, Francesca and Salvatore. He loved them fiercely and unconditionally and would do anything for them without hesitation. Jared was endlessly supportive, generous with his time and energy, and always willing to help someone in need. And though parents are not supposed to have favorites, Jared held a special place in his mother Sharon's heart, one that will never fade.
Jared William Mysierowicz lived a life defined by creativity, independence, loyalty, and love. He leaves behind a legacy of unforgettable memories, laughter, music, art, and devotion to family. Though his physical presence is gone, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, in the stories that will be shared, and in the countless lives he touched simply by being himself.
Jared is survived by his father, Dino Mysierowicz; his siblings, Tina Mysierowicz, Jordan (Anna) Mysierowicz, and Javan (Valerie) Mysierowicz; his niece and goddaughter, Natalya; his nephews, Nikolai, Alexander, Roman, and Abraham; and his grandmother Irene Matral. Preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Lynn Mysierowicz; and grandparents, Bernie Whitely, and Richard Matral.
Rest in peace, Jared. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
