Jarrod “J-Rod” Marvin Hagan, 43, of Owensboro, passed away on October 3, 2025, under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. He was born on November 13, 1981, in Owensboro to Gayle and Diana Brumley Hagan. In his youth, J-rod played youth football for ODCYFL and also played baseball. He was a fan of NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt. J-Rod loved cars, well, Ford vehicles anyway, driving and working on them and may have enjoyed going fast a few times in his life. He was also a huge New Orleans Saints fan, he got to travel to the Superdome on one occasion and saw them two other times at other stadiums.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gayle Hagan; maternal grandfather, Weldon Brumley; and his paternal grandparents, Marvin and Maxine Hagan.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Diana Hagan; his children, Gage Braxton Hagan and Liam Clark Hagan; a sister, Rhonda (Tony) Jenkins; maternal grandmother, Wilma Brumley; a niece, Bailey Jenkins; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many very close friends, including some he considered his own brothers from another mother.
The funeral service for J-Rod will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Father Mike Williams officiating. Same day visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
