MIDDLE GROVE-Jason R. Abraham, age 37, peacefully passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at home in Middle Grove.He was born on August 28, 1983, in Saratoga Springs, NY, the son of Paul Abraham and Nancy Arnold Abraham. Jason was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School, class of 2001.Jason was a corrections officer for the NY State Department of Corrections for many years. Jason enjoyed bowling, golfing, hockey and was an avid fan of the NY Jets. He loved traveling to Maine with his family and was proud to be a firefighter with the Greenfield Fire District. His greatest love was his daughter, McKenna Rose. He cherished and enjoyed every moment of his free time with her.Jason is survived by his beloved wife, Melissa Abraham; daughter, Mckenna Rose; parents, Paul and Nancy Abraham; brother, Michael Abraham and his children, Grace and Ethan Abraham; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Maureen and Tom Corrigan; grandmother, Doris Arnold Sheffey; sister-in-law, Jennifer Dougherty (Andy) and their children, Jack and Wheeler Dougherty; The Pickett Family who was a second family to Jason and many friends who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his grandparents. A celebration of life service will be held at 4 pm on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
