Jason Owen Bearden was born on August 8,1981 in Pensacola FL. He grew up in Alabama but always dreamed of moving back to Florida, and finally made that dream come true last year.
Jason loved his children and his family. His favorite time was spent with Cara and Declan, whether it was at the beach and river, shopping for collectibles, or playing all their favorite video games. He had a kind heart and was always thinking of others. You'd never know what gift he would show up with that had reminded him of you so he bought it. His love for Florida Gators football was only matched by his hatred of Georgia football. He had the greatest sense of humor and quick wit that would keep anyone laughing.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his children, Cara and Declan and their mother, Michelle; his parents, DC and Edwina; sisters, Jessica (Lynn Sheffield) and Libby Bradley; a very special and devoted friend, Sienna Mathews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jason was so greatly loved as a father, son, brother, and friend and will be deeply missed. His wishes to not have a formal service will be honored. The family will be having a private celebration of life in the future.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to the further education of Jason's two children. Donations can be sent via Venmo to @Edwina-Bearden.
