Jason (Skip) treasured the lifetime friends he had. Growing up with the Reeck Road Posse was priceless. He was quiet and a loyal friend and brother. He loved basketball and was an exceptional player. Skip enjoyed video games and playing a superhero version of DND with his kids. He graduated high school and did a year of community college, before going on to become a proud Navy Veteran. Jason after the Navy worked as security for Marathon Oil. He enjoyed collecting anything that had to do with the Navy, coins, Detroit sports and Michigan football.
In addition to his father, Jason is survived by his sister Jennifer Sawmiller (Jason Sawmiller), nephew Devin Sawmiller, his children Brittney Beems, Jessica Beems and Jeremy Beems.
